Costa del Sol takes up about 300 kilometres of the Mediterranean littoral that corresponds to the province of Malaga. The Costa del Sol needs no introduction; the combination of endless sunshine, long lazy beaches, sleepy whitewashed mountain villages, unspoilt natural beauty, a wealth of golf courses, mouth-watering cuisine and the fun loving yet relaxed nature of the Andalucian people unsurprisingly makes this area the largest expat community in Spain. This region’s popularity continues, a trend that sees no sign of stopping.
The Costa Del Sol welcomes more than two million people a year who arrive at Malaga international airport and head to one of the many resorts located along this stretch of coastline from Estepona in the west to Nerja in the east.
With the Costa del Sol weather giving over 300 days of sunshine per year it isn't difficult to understand why it is one of Europe's top holiday destinations.
There are around 70 Costa del Sol golf courses on the "Costa del Golf" which can be played all year round as well as a whole range of other activities available such as sailing, scuba diving, horse riding, dolphin safaris, etc. The list is endless.
