While the world is centred on Africa and the World Cup with high hopes on both sides for England and Spain, other smaller but no less important changes have been going on in the football scene affecting both countries. Alamo International’s managing director, Darren Lilley, has always been involved in the construction and property business. One of Darren’s earlier jobs was in the construction of Broadfield Stadium, home to Crawley Town Football Club in England. Now that connection has been taken a stage further as Spanish based Darren still has a bond with his favourite side, as his team will also wear the logo of the company that he represents.

Crawley Town Football Club start the new 2010 season with a sense of fulfilment that the team will continue to perform even better wearing new shirts bearing the logos of their new sponsors, Alamo International Real Estate and Joseph Green Estate Agents. The new shirts will be available for sale to fans at the end of July.
The Joseph Green logo will be displayed on the front of the club’s home shirt and on the back of the away shirt. Alamo International’s logo will be prominent on the front of both the away and third strip as well as on the back of the home kit. These two sister property companies will benefit from being in a position to have a working base and exhibition area in the club ground as well as a mobile exhibition at away games. James Green Company also have a strong connection with the Crawley side as Kevin Green, a managing director of the company, was a former player in the club’s youth side. The sponsorship deal also means that the club will benefit from every sale the two companies make through this type of marketing.
This sponsorship will be over the next two years with the option of a third year and it is this type of forward thinking that makes Alamo International one of the leading property companies in Spain.
